Is your Charity tapping into 'New Year' fundraising opportunities?
A recent BBC business news feature highlights the growing attraction of pushing through the pain barrier with highly successful events such as such as ‘Total Warrior’ attracting thousands of participants. From extreme Bootcamps to Iron Men what was once the preserve of the fitness elite, is becoming mainstream as more and more people take on new activity challenges and help fund-raise for a charity at the same time.
The New Year is when we all make resolutions to get fit, shed the holiday pounds and commit to personal challenges, so it’s the ideal time for charities to offer fund-raising challenges based on outdoor adventure-based activities. It makes for a powerful combination that has all the right ingredients of a successful fund-raising challenge.
With LifeAdventureCo’s help, the Tiny Life charity for example organises a captivating fundraising event that motivates and inspires hundreds of people to sign up every year. Over that time we are delighted to have helped raise thousands of pounds by delivering the unique and innovative Operation Lipstick.
Titled as a 'Ladies Only' Adventure Challenge, the concept integrates the unique attributes of the Charity combined with traditional behaviours and current trends. Now in its fifth year, the concept has gone from strength to strength and with the 2016 event just around the corner, the excitement is already building.
Having seen the benefits of the unique process employed by LifeAdventureCo to create sustainable fundraising solutions, we strongly believe that such a process does reward. Whatever your initial fundraising objectives, from single activity events such as Abseils to multiple activity events such as Operation Lipstick, we're happy to sit down and chat through the process.
